This year, Cortech Developments hosted its annual series of Cortech Open Innovation Events (COIE) while exhibiting at IFSEC.
Five events were held over three days and provided the 70 delegates with the chance to see the latest advances in security, building and fire control technology as well as the opportunity to discover how smarter interoperability between these systems reduces cost and risk whilst improving operational efficiency and providing greater situational awareness.
The thought-provoking and educational sessions provided attendees with a chance to meet with collaborating manufactures and see real-time demonstrations of software/hardware which provided an insight into how to adopt the latest smart integration techniques with a view to mitigating risk and reducing costs.
Delegates were encouraged to take part in cluster group discussions; topics raised by delegates included future proofing, integration of new with older legacy technology and managing multiple systems across multiple sites.
Cortech Developments’ Head of Sales and Marketing, Jason Blundell, commented: “We were delighted to welcome 70 delegates to the series of events spanning the three days, by collaborating with our attending manufacturers we were able to demonstrate how smart integration can reduce risk and cost when managing multiple technologies across multiple sites. The feedback from delegates has been extremely positive and the event has surpassed our expectations. The Cortech Open Innovation Events concentrated on ‘mitigating the risk for workplace safety, high security and building efficiency’, providing delegates with the opportunity to see the latest advances in building, fire and security control technology and discover how smarter interoperability between these systems can reduce cost and risk, improve operational efficiency and provide greater situation awareness.”
