For the second year on the run, Cortech Developments has sponsored Circus Starr, a touring circus boasting world-class, professional artists from across the globe.
First founded in 1987, the organisation provides free seats for thousands of disadvantaged, disabled or vulnerable children, whilst helping to raise much needed funds for local charities.
Last year Cortech were able to support 10 children but this year we are pleased to be able to help 15 underprivileged children as well as children with disabilities the chance to run away to the circus and forget their troubles for a day.
2018 marks the 250th anniversary of Philip Astley’s first circus on the banks of the Thames. The traditions and power of circus to unite communities, wow audiences and restore hope in a world where anything is possible lives on through the work of Circus Starr.
