The COIE series provide a showcase for some of the latest advances in security, fire and building control technology and a platform for demonstrating how interoperability between systems can reduce risk and cost, improve operational efficiencies and provide greater situation awareness.
The events aim to challenge us all to think about the ways in which we manage infrastructures and buildings with a view towards enhanced safety, security, interoperability and sustainability.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with such a high profile and reputable media organisation,” explained Paul Spence, Marketing and Communications Manager of Cortech Developments. “The partnership will add real value to the events moving forward, and allow us to reach a much wider audience of end users and consultants. Importantly, the COIE series and Risk UK are perfectly aligned regarding educating the market around risk mitigation.”
Published by Pro-Activ Publications, Risk UK is the UK’s premier monthly security management and fire safety journal dedicated to addressing all aspects of risk faced by today’s business community, in turn assisting those responsible for the security, business continuity, safety and risk management of the UK’s largest companies with their day-to-day operations.
Commenting on the Media Partnership with Cortech, Brian Sims (Editor of Risk UK) stated: “This is a great opportunity for Risk UK to be part of a growing and well respected event brand. Building, security, safety and IT systems demand careful consideration if the benefits they offer are to be fully realised by host organisations. It’s absolutely vital for end users managing and mitigating risk to fully understand the threat landscape and be conversant with the latest solutions. The COIE series centres on this requirement and provide a thought-provoking and educational insight into how the smart integration of technology actively reduces risk.”
The next COIE is hosted at Cortech Developments’ headquarters in Knutsford, Cheshire on 12 July 2016. This will involve four collaborating manufacturers: Bosch [CCTV], Commend [Intercoms], Intech Solutions [Control Room Solutions] and Harper Chalice [Perimeter Intrusion Detection and Deterrent Systems].
All manufacturers will be available for ‘one-to-one’ discussions with delegates on the day of the event.
