The first Cortech Open Innovation Event [COIE] to be hosted in the Middle East was deemed a success by Cortech Developments Middle East Director, Phil Witts.
“We were delighted to welcome close to 60 delegates from a wide range of large corporations in the Middle East. In collaboration with our attending manufacturers we were able to demonstrate how smart integration can reduce risk and cost when managing multiple technologies across multiple sites.”
Phil added “The feedback from our delegates was very positive and the event has surpassed our expectations. The theme of innovation was reinforced with some the latest advancements in building, fire and security technology on show. We are now hopeful of hosting further COIE’s in the Middle East during the coming months.”
The Hormuz Grand Hotel in Muscat, Oman provided a fantastic venue for the event which involved our supporting manufacturers, namely; Advanced, Detection Technologies, Stentofon and SciFlair. Delegates were also addressed by distinguished guest speaker Bill Nelson, Managing Partner of Rose Associates. Bill provided an engaging and thought provoking insight into the smarter integration of security and building systems.
Cortech will make an announcement soon regarding other COIE’s to be hosted in the Middle East. Updates will be posted on our website.
