COIE’s Add Value


Last year’s Cortech Open Innovation Events [COIE’s] proved to be a big success with a wide range of consultants and end users. 

COIE Birmingham

These CPD accredited events  provide a showcase for some of the latest advances in security, fire and building control technology and a platform for demonstrating how interoperability between these systems can reduce costs and risk, improve operational efficiency and provide greater situation awareness.

The breakdown of visitors for the 5 events included end users 57%, consultants 25%, main contractors 12% and other 6%

End user visitors by vertical sector included Healthcare 22%, Education 18%, Stadia/Arenas 12%, Secure Hospitals 8%, shopping centres 7%, Police 5%, Councils 5%, Manufacturing 4%, Finance/Banking 3%, Museums 3%, Chemicals 3% and other 10%.

The events were hosted at regional venues throughout the UK including Cortech’s HQ – Knutsford, The Royal Armouries – Leeds, The ICC – Birmingham, The Emirates Arena – Glasgow and Mercedes-Benz World – Weybridge  which is open to Consultants, End Users and Main Contractors,

Cortech will be releasing a schedule of COIE’s for 2016.  This will be published on the event page of our website in February.
